Scope and subjects of regulation of Investment law

Vietnam's investment law currently regulates investment activities as follows:

Business investment activities in Vietnam of Vietnamese investors.
Business investment activities in Vietnam between Vietnamese investors and foreign investors.
Business investment activities in Vietnam of foreign investors.
Business investment activities from Vietnam to abroad.

Thus, both Vietnamese investors and foreign investors in Vietnam are subject to investment law. Vietnamese investors or foreign investors in Vietnam all need to understand the provisions of the investment law when planning to invest.

Types of investment

Currently, Vietnamese Law on Investment 2020 specifically stipulates 05 forms of investment in Vietnam, including:

New investment forms and economic organizations according to the Government's regulations.
